PennyTrader Midday Report for September 3, 2010 SRCP, EEGC, TRXBQ Stocks have been steadily descending for the past hour. Despite the slide, the major indices remain in positive territory with solid gains. Those gains also remain broad based in that eight of the 10 major sectors are in the green.

The dollar has dipped a bit in recent trade. It currently trails a broader basket of curencies by 0.3%. Most of the greenback`s pullback is owed to strength in the euro, which is up 0.3% to $1.29.

GCKO revealed quite recently on the 23rd of last month that a “national provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions and proprietary monitoring” had expressed interest in using SecurityBots from GeckoSystems.While this national provider has not yet been named, with the increasingly bullish indicators pointing upward the team at Ivy League OTC thinks that the name will more then likely be released soon.

September is definitely off to a good start and some investors are saying that the index is in a new uptrend.

We are a little more cautious. There is still a lot of fear in the marketplace and if today`s employment numbers disappoint, we would expect to see a sharp selloff at the open this morning.

In Wednesday`s newsletter we told investors to start exiting their position in LBSR, so we were not surprised that the stock had a major drop on Thursday. The price broke through support at $0.10 and we are expecting to see more selling pressure this morning.

We are adding ALTI to the list of our recent winners. We sent out a buy recommendation on Twitter when the price was at $0.45 and by the afternoon, it hit a high of $0.59. The stock closed modestly lower but we are still expecting to see a strong open today.
